YPN Reunion in Hong Kong
Bosco, Richard, Junior, and Frank all took part in an International Youth Forum that was held in Hong Kong over July. Bosco, Frank, and Junior were all participants of YPN 2009 while Richard was a YPN participant from 2008.
Ying (YPN 2009 participant) was able to come down from China so that she could visit with the 2009 YPNers.

GREAT News for Argentina
I found this CBC news peice on the new law in Argentina that allows gay couples to adopt and get married.

We had a hard time getting to this law as there were lots of discussions, many of which were loaded with agression and violence, but now the new law is a reality and the social conciousness about the lgbt community will carry on increasing.

Global Adventures In China:
Ying is now running the global adventures program for 5 to 10 year olds in China. The children taking part in the program were very excited when Ying shared her experince in Canada with them. They loved hearing about both the culture here in Canada and of course the music.

Ying had the chance to go down to Hong Kong in July to meet up with Frank and Bosco (two other 2009 YPNers). They had an amazing time seeing eachother again.

YPN Summer Staff 2010

Working with the YPN program has been an amazing experience for me. There are a lot of problems in this world, but through an understanding of these problems, and a genuine interest to give back and make a postive change in the lives of others, I believe that we can create a better world for eveyone. Being able to meet with the global youth leaders of peace was a fantastic opportunity. They are doing so many amazing things back in their home countries that will no doubt have a lasting impact. My only wish is that I would have loved to be able to attend the welcoming and farewell events.
