Why you are participating in the Youth Peace Network: I am participating in this program because I would like to add my knowledge and share in other people’s cultures. I would like to learn more about new people, their country, and their local YMCA. I want to become a friend of peace, and add my leadership skills into this program. I am not supposed to ask what my YMCA can do for me, however, I am supposed to ask what I can do for my YMCA in my community and country, and thusly I hope to be part of positive action in this world.
